Reno, NV - Brüka Theatre’s 27th Season: The Bridge continues with a fantastical, sci-fi drama: The Children. A transfer from London's Royal Court Theatre, The Children was Lucy Kirkwood’s first Broadway play and debuted in 2017. This thought provoking and haunting play was one of the most produced regional plays in 2019. This is Bob Ives first time directing at Bruka Theatre. He was seen on the Bruka stage as Titus in Titus Andronicus and Riff Raff in The Rocky Horror Picture show. Bob also works with other local companies and works at UNR.
THE STORY: Two retired scientists exist in an isolated cottage by the sea as the world around them crumbles. Then an old friend arrives with a frightening request. This is a cautionary tale for apocalyptic times.
TIMES: All Brüka mainstage evening shows now begin at 7:30 PM Matinees begin at 2:00 PM. Doors open 30 minutes before curtain time.
PRICES: Admission for Students/Seniors/Military: $20. General admission is $22. All tickets are $26 at the door.

PARKING: We once again are validating parking at the Parking Gallery on First and Sierra Street. $1 for three hours. Validation through our box office. We also suggest convenient parking in the Court Street parking lot across from The Pioneer Theater and walking across the new Virginia Street Bridge to Brüka FREE after 5:00 PM.
